I’m a certified vinyasa, prenatal and children’s yoga teacher and a certified IIN health coach. I found yoga in my mid-twenties after several injuries kept me from my first love of running. In 2017, I made the decision to learn more about what I was doing on the mat. I enrolled in the 200 hour program at Yoga Vida in NYC. I came out of the program with an understanding that yoga reaches far beyond the mat, beyond the physical asanas and beyond our consciousness. It was then that I knew I wanted to share my journey and knowledge with those around me.
But life had a different plan. Two weeks after receiving my certification, I tore my ACL skiing. Unable to do physical asana, I dove into my studies at the Prenatal Yoga Center in NYC, unveiling yet another passion, to serve the pregnant population. In 2020 my husband and I welcomed our baby boy into the world. Throughout my pregnancy I taught (virtually) and practiced prenatal yoga. Having personally gone through the experience of being pregnant, labor, delivery and postpartum, I know what a crucial role yoga can play in the life of an expectant mom.
I currently teach in Madison, NJ and surrounding areas. My classes vary from gentle yoga to athletic vinyasa flow. I teach private single and group lessons, tailoring each of the classes to the individual(s) needs. My goal with each class is to bring accessible, fluid movement into the body, awareness to the present moment, and calmness to the mind.
Yoga, like life, is a never ending journey. My promise to myself and to my students is to never stop learning, to always practice and teach with gratitude, and to help my students reach their goals, whatever they may be.
